About The Seth Program
Fitzpatrick Real Estate Team has helped many homebuyers get into their dream home using the Seth program. This is an amazing program that can help you pay your down payment and closing cost. The Seth program is available in most areas of Texas excluding El Paso, Grand Prairie, McKinney and Travis County. Borrowers can select the amount of assistance that best meets their needs and loan product. The maximum amount of assistance is 6% grant which is 6% of the total loan amount. Buyers will receive a 30 year fixed rate FHA, VA or USDA mortgage loan. Buyers must be income eligible and have a FICO score of 660 or higher. The down payment assistance is available to buyers up to the amount of $274,050 or the maximum amount permitted by HUD. Your grant could be up to $15,867.00. There is no repayment or recapture period for the assistance provided. There is not a first time homebuyer requirement. Seth offers an online homebuyer education class for borrowers.
